The things people most often ask before they get in touch. If your question is not here, a short conversation is the best way to answer it.
Nothing. The first conversation is always at no fee and never rushed. It takes as long as the conversation needs, and there is no obligation on either side afterwards.
They are set out in full on our Process & Fees page, with a calculator. In short: the Private Wealth Planning report is a fixed £10,000; implementation is 0.5% of the assets we put to work; and ongoing Private Wealth Management is 0.5% a year, subject to a minimum of £10,000. There are no exit fees.
Yes. We are chartered, independent and directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority, which means whole-of-market advice with no product bias and no network restrictions. We answer to you, not to a parent company or a panel.
We do not set a hard minimum for a first conversation. Our ongoing service carries a minimum fee of £10,000 a year, which in practice means we are the right fit for people with more complex wealth. If we are not the right firm for you, we will say so, and usually know someone who is.
It is the frame we use to sort your wealth into the three jobs it is being asked to do: Liquidity for the shocks life produces, Lifestyle for the life you have planned, and Legacy for what passes on. It turns a portfolio conversation into a plan you can actually live with. There is a full explanation on our The 3Ls page.
It is how we coordinate the other professionals around you, your accountant, solicitor, tax and corporate advisers, so nothing falls between them. Every ongoing client also has an allowance worth 10% of their fee each year, set aside toward the cost of that wider team. There is a calculator and a brochure on the Guardian:CONNECT page.
Most of our clients arrive at a turning point: a business sale, a liquidity event, complex pay and equity, or wealth passing to a second generation. We focus on four groups in particular: entrepreneurs, family offices, senior executives, and consultants and business owners. You can read more on our Who We Work With page.
Not necessarily. Part of our role is to coordinate what you already have and the advisers you already trust. Where a change is in your interest we will explain why, but the plan is built around your situation, not around moving everything to us.
Either. Many clients prefer to meet at Marlow Place, and we are always glad to host you, but a first conversation by video works just as well. We fit around you.
Get in touch through the contact page, by phone or by WhatsApp, with the rough shape of your situation. We will reply within one working day and arrange an initial conversation with our financial planners.
The best answers come from a conversation. It is at no fee, unhurried, and there is no obligation.
