I have been providing financial planning advice to clients since 2006, having previously worked here in Oxford for both Critchleys the Accountants, and latterly Charles Stanley.
My main approach to providing financial planning advice is to help clients make sense of what I call their ‘jigsaw puzzle’. Usually clients I meet with already have most of the pieces of the puzzle and just need some help fitting these together so that they form the nice picture on the box, i.e. so that their ideal current and future lifestyle and objectives can become reality.
Sometimes clients don’t have all the pieces to hand and also need me to provide these in order to help complete the puzzle.
Taking the time to fully understand my clients hopes and fears and then providing solutions that give them piece of mind is what drives me daily. I believe that I have one of the best jobs in the world as I get to help people save and spend their money that then enables them to do the things that are most important to them.
Outside of work, I have 2 primary school age sons who keep me busy in evenings and weekends. I also love turning my hand to some DIY and occasionally play one of my too many guitars.
